The Ministry of Health and Prevention launched an awareness campaign on the occasion of the "International Human Organ Donation Day", which lasts for eight days, with the aim of educating community members about the importance of organ donation and introducing the national program for donation and transplantation of organs and human tissues "Hayat", which falls within the state's directions to be a role model on both levels. Regional and global in the field of transfer and transplantation of human organs and tissues.
The awareness campaign coincides with the World Organ Donation Day, which falls on August 13 of each year, as the Ministry sheds light, by celebrating this occasion, on what the UAE has achieved in organizing the conduct of transfers, preservation and transplantation of human organs and tissues, as well as the progress made in Spreading the culture of organ donation among citizens and residents in the country and increasing the number of donors
The National Program for Human Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation "Hayat" participates in the campaign by carrying out field trips in the community, including a number of shopping centers (malls) in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Sharjah, in addition to a number of government agencies in the country.

The campaign stops in shopping centers, which will run from August 13 to 20, and include Yas Mall, Gallery Mall, Bawadi Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Festival City, Mirdif City Center and Sharjah City Center”, while tours to official and private include the Ministries of Health and Community Protection, Finance, Education agencies, Foreign Affairs, Dubai Police General Command, Dubai Healthcare City Authority, Zayed Military Hospital, and the Center
The Pakistani Medical Center and Al Qasimi Hospital for Women, Maternity and Children, provided that the times for tours to shopping centers during weekdays are between ten in the morning and ten in the evening, and on holidays between ten in the morning and twelve at night, while the time for tours to government agencies is between eight in the morning and three in the evening.
The "Hayat" program provides an opportunity for every resident of the UAE over the age of 21 to express his desire to donate.
With its organs after brain death, the program is considered a solution for many patients and helps give them new hope in life, because of its positive impact on the life of the donor and recipient. Organ transplantation also contributes to relieving patients’ pain and saving their lives, reducing the burden on hospitals and reducing medical spending, to be invested in developmental and preventive programs.

His Excellency Dr. Amin Hussain Al-Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Health Regulation Sector at the Ministry of Health and Prevention, explained that continuous awareness of the importance of organ donation is an essential part of the national efforts to increase the number of donors and provide more organs for patients.
Those who suffer from chronic diseases or those that threaten their lives, pointing out that the campaign, including its awareness tours, provides an opportunity to communicate directly with members of society and provide accurate information about organ donation, the procedures used, and the related health and humanitarian benefits.
